Last time we visited them was 2013 but since then they have been taken over by Woodham Mortimer and moved from Malden to Chelmsford. The new premises are very modern compared to the old Malden site.
We had 6 Tvrs turn up, plus a few turned up in their ordinary cars. In all 13 of us.
In front of the Building were a long line of Porsches from the Porsche owners club.
As we entered there were quite a few cars lined up waiting for restoration from a Cortina mk3 to a few Rover Sd1’s.also a couple of Morgans plus a few E type Jaguars and an XK120.
On the other side were quite a few finished examples from Ferraris to Mercedes Pagoda, SL’s, and a few mk2 Jaguars ,also a 1954 Alfa Romeo and even a line of 4 1960s Minis. The finish was like they just left the factory. Very impressive.
At the back of the building is where they repair the bodywork and a spray booth. Next was where they rebuild the engines. They also finish the interiors in finest leather.
We were also supplied with Tea Coffee and cake which went down well.
Nice Morning Visit, Many thanks to all that came.
