We had to meet up very early at Thurrock services for the drive down to Goodwood. We had to be there by 8.30am so we met up at 7.00am to get there earlier enough. As I was filling up in the services, I got a call from Bryn and Steve who was waiting in the carpark so we decided to meet at the exit and leave straight away.
We had a great drive down in the sunshine with the roof off, and arrived at 8.20am after driving 78miles , we then had to queue to get in which took 15min, as it was so busy.
We were guided onto the Goodwood Race track, and drove through the Tunnel giving the car a good blast, then we joined the line up along the starting grid. It took 10 mins driving through all the parked super-cars to find a parking spot. Crowds of spectators lined the route and were taking photos of us. Kids were saying to the dads cor its a Tvr, Its amazing that they were very interested in our cars which cost a fraction of most of the cars on show.
We then spent 3 hours walking around some of the most expensive cars ever made. After seeing about 30 Aventadors and 50 Ferraris with a few Porsche Gt3's Gt2's, Aston Martins inc a Zagato convertable v rare, Racing DB11, DB9, Vantage Gte, Bugatti Chiron Veyrons, lots of Mclarens inc a few P1s and several 720s. there was also a rare Mclaren Senna, finished in Carbon Fibre bodywork, only 20 of these were made at £300k each.
Amongst the newish supercars were a mixture of classic supercars such as Ferrari Daytonas, Gto's Lamborghini Diablo, Espada Murcialago etc,,even a Blower Bentley, and a few Tvrs
