'What a great evening for this years BBQ, the last couple of years rain stopped play.but this year was perfect weather.
Usually they use the Driving range for parking the cars, but due to a new Crazy Golf course and the new clubhouse extension theres no car access.
This year they decided to park the cars in the carpark and within an hour that was completely full. I arrived at 7.30pm and had to park by the Tee for hole 1. As I drove up to the Tee I noticed a white Lambo Murcielago parked there, It was one of our ex RO's Peter Reason. last time we met was 4 yrs ago at the Forresters. After a short chat Angus in his Griff parked next to me and then Phil arrived in his wedge.
Shame that Lambo was parked there as it spoilt the Tvr lineup ( bet Peter thought the same )
After a 15min queue for drinks and a BBQ ticket I had to queue for the BBQ, Phil and Angus wandered off to look at the cars. After 35mins queuing I got a burger, reminder next time eat before you go.
The line up of cars was amazing, from loads of Porsches to Ferraris, Mercedes, Jags, Lotus 7s,
Elises, Evoras, couple of Tvr's, plus lots of Classic cars. we also spotted Roger with his T350 still damaged from an incident at warren, He said don't mention that.
